Worldwide Superabrasives, LLC (WWSA), a global leader in the manufacture and supply of industrial diamonds and CBN (cubic boron nitride) products is pleased to announce the hiring of David Simpson, formerly of Sumitomo Electric Carbide. Dave joins WWSA's world-class sales team of Chris Winkel, Dan Herzog and John Chalvadakis to add his +15 years ofexperience of providing the highest quality superabrasive materials to a technologically diverse customer base. Prior to joining WWSA, Dave was the sales manager for Sumitomo Electric Carbide Materials Group, responsible for PCD/PCBN cutting tooljwire die blanks, specialty carbide blanks, ZnSe crystal lenses, single crystal diamond blanksfor North America and South America while also overseeing key accounts. In addition, Dave has spent 1 0 years on the IDA Board of Directors, serving as president in 2008 along with the Wire Associations Ohio Valley Chapter Board of Directors. Prior to Sumitomo, Dave spent several years in law enforcement. Dave earned his BS in Business Systems Dave's vast knowledge of the global superabrasive marketplace along with selling the highest quality superabrasive products will increase WWSA's ability to continue our strong expansion into key international markets, such as Europe, India and Brazil as well as supporting our current customer base of over 100 customers in 16 countries. WWSA, along with our joint venture partner located in Kaifeng, China, BESCO Superabrasives, produced and sold over 140,000,000 carats of superabrasive products in 2011 . |

Worldwide Superabrasives, LLC (WWSA) is pleased to announce the development of a new hybrid Nickel coating that will increase tool life in phenolic and polyimide resin bond systems. The pronounced spiky surface texture and elongated dendrites provide increased mechanical retention, very high material removal rates and improved formholding of the resin bond grinding wheel. The SP hybrid coating is available in 56% and 60% by weight. |

WWSA's New Headquarters - December 20, 2010 Worldwide Superabrasives, LLC (WWSA), a global leader in the manufacturing and distribution of industrial diamond and Cubic Boron Nitride (CBN) products, announced that it has recently relocated its US manufacturing facility to a new building WWSA purchased in March 2010. WWSA's new 11,000 square foot state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is located at 2921 NW Commerce Park Drive, Boynton Beach, Florida 33426. WWSA worked with several of the finest industrial architects and contractors to design and construct one of the most advanced and efficient superabrasive qualification and processing facilities in the industry. The cornerstone of WWSA's new facility is our advanced electroless and electrolytic plating units that allow WWSA to produce over 100,000,000 carats of Nickel and Copper plated superabrasive products annually. "WWSA and its partners have made a long-term commitment to serving the global superabrasives industry into the future," said Chris Winkel, President of WWSA. "The purchase of our new building along with the custom construction of our state-of-the-art superabrasives manufacturing and processing facility will allow WWSA to enhance and retain our position as one of the global leaders in providing the highest quality and most consistent superabrasive products at the most competitive prices." |

Dan Herzog takes an expanded role in WWSA - December 13, 2010 Chris Winkel has announced that Dan Herzog will take on an expanded role with Worldwide Superabrasives. Effective immediately, Dan will assist in serving a much broader list of Worldwide customers globally and will take an active role in Business Development activities. Dan Herzog joins WWSA - August 2008 Dan brings approximately 40 years of experience in the superabrasives industry to Worldwide. After receiving his BSME, he began his career with Cincinnati Milacron as a Design Engineer in the Special Grinding Machine Division. He then joined GE Superabrasives (now Diamond Innovations) as a Project Engineer for the Borazon CBN section, launching a 13-year period of concentration on superabrasives. |
